Finches Friend Join Made in Britain

We’re proud to make Finches Friend Cleaner Feeders in the UK, and joined Made In Britain to get the word out.

Once the Finches Friend product identity was set, we wanted to highlight the things that were most important to us. If rolling back disease in wild birds was our primary aim, manufacturing our products in Britain with as little environment impact as possible was next. It is a key part of our identity.

We want our customers to know they are buying from a company who take the responsibility to our coworkers and to the environment very seriously. Manufacturing in the UK gives us complete control over the process, eliminating single user plastic for example, as well as creating sustainable employment, reinvesting in the country.

To help share our message we looked at several trade organisations, and “Made in Britain” stood out. Modern, dynamic and forward looking, from the start their logo spoke to what we are, a proud British Design and Manufacturing family business.

Following our initial approach it was clear that we had made the right move, Made in Britain were professional, approachable and friendly. We submitted our application, Made in Britain did their due diligence, and welcomed us with open arms.

We’re proud to join other brilliant British businesses featured in the Made in Britain Product Directory, and promoted across their social media accounts.

With the Made in Britain badge on our packaging and promotional material, and opportunities available through the organisation, we hope to show how important manufacturing Cleaner Feeders, and growing the business in Britain is to us all at Finches Friend.
